Our Mission
At GreenYacht we see yacht owners, captains and crew as stewards of the marine ecosystem that we all know and love so much. As stewards of these beautiful places we believe that we all have a responsibility to operate in a manner that respects, protects and conserves these environments. Our mission is simple, to help foster the adoption of three core principles for yacht operation.
Our Impact
We provide a certification program to foster the GreenYacht principles. GreenYacht certified vessels adhere to our three core principles thereby helping to reduce global net carbon emissions, eliminate the use and discarding of single-use plastics and promote marine ecosystem awareness and conservation efforts. After all, we operate yachts in order to experience the beauty and wonder of the marine ecosystem, shouldn’t we be the stewards of its protection and preservation?

Any yacht can become GreenYacht certified wherein the program connects the yacht to a wide range of non-profit organizations, net zero-carbon initiatives and green technology innovators so that every certification is chosen by the yacht and tailored to their specific interests.

The GreenYacht certification program is custom built for each yacht we work with. Guided by the three core GreenYacht principles we put together a custom set of interactions and connections that meets with the interests of the yacht owner, captain and crew. We provide this service on a “pay what you’d like” basis and all proceeds received by GreenYacht are used to help us progress the goals of our mission through our operation as an impact fund.
